CATastrophic Hunger Crisis is a mod created for the game 'Stardew Valley'. In this mod, players find a hungry cat asking for a sardine. Upon completing his request, this cat takes the player to their secret village hidden in the woods, where the cat residents have lost access to their fishing lake. The player is tasked with clearing the path to the lake, and then catching fish for the remaining cats to give them the energy they need to fish for themselves once again. The final reward is special bait that will give the player a 100% chance of catching the specified fish the bait is for.

This mod was created in Game Modication at RIT, with the help of 4 other members. As the narrative designer, I wrote out dialogue for each interaction, as well as made the story fun and understandable. I also worked as a programmer, solving all types of issues that arose.
